Job Description
The Blow Mold Operator will operate blow-mold, grinders, trimmer machines, and conveyor systems. The role involves troubleshooting process problems and performing minor maintenance to ensure the production line's continued operation. The operator is responsible for adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices.
ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and applicable laws and regulations.Operate blow-mold machines to ensure the production of quality bottles and perform audits, weights, and quality checks.Adhere to quality control and blow mold process procedures.Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on blow-mold and support equipment.Make adjustments to meet product specifications.Assist with mold changes and machine setups.Perform quality checks to ensure the product is within parameters.Maintain a clean work station.Prepare maintenance request forms and document equipment repairs.Prepare and document daily production reports, including rejects, regrinds, line efficiencies, and more.Receive instructions on specific job tasks from Lead Operator or Supervisor.Essential SkillsStrong mechanical aptitude.Basic mathematical skills.Basic computer experience.Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion.Additional Skills & QualificationsManufacturing experience.Completion of Machine Operator I training within 90 days of hire date.Direct blow molding machine setup and operation experience.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is climate-controlled. Employees are regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts in a production environment, where the noise level is usually loud. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in designated areas. Temperatures inside the plant can fluctuate between hot and cold according to seasonal changes.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
