**Job Title: Swing Shift Utility Operator** Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Swing Shift Utility Operator where you will play an integral role in the packaging and processing of powdered products. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure customer satisfaction in every product we deliver. Responsibilities + Stand in the receiving room next to a large funnel that descends from the ceiling, filling boxes with powdered product from the funnel. + Weigh each box to meet customer specifications, close and send it down a conveyor. + Sanitize the funnel and work area after packaging is completed. + As an FRH Operator, add raw materials into mixers, spray dryers, and blending tanks following formula sheets. + Weigh dyes and chemicals, check the consistency of batches, and lift drums and bags. + Monitor equipment, control temperatures, and use an RF Scanner to scan products from inventory. + Prepare formula and mix ingredients into kettles to make blends of liquids into powder. + Ensure product quality to meet customer satisfaction. + Assist with operating Spray Dryer and Liquid Reactors. + Transfer materials, set up equipment, and fill out batch sheets. Essential Skills + Experience with batch mixing and GMP. + Packaging experience within a foods environment. + Comfort with various spices and smells. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Blending experience is preferred. + Experience with spices or flavors is a plus. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.85/hr.
