**Job Title: Blender**
**Job Description**
In the blending position, individuals will work directly from PLC controlled machines to blend raw materials to assist in the manufacturing of chocolate milk, strawberry milk, protein shakes such as muscle milk and more. This requires the blender to operate forklifts, pull stock off shelves, stage new blends, and load raw material into large vats for mixing and blending. The bags that the contractor will dump into the machines weigh around 45-50lbs and there may be 10-15 of these bags per blend. Candidates could do 3-4 blends a day, or no blends during the day depending on what they are running. When they are not mixing and blending, they are assisting on the fill lines or staging for new blends coming up.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate PLC controlled machines to blend raw materials.
+ Use forklifts to move stock from shelves and stage new blends.
+ Load raw materials into large vats for mixing.
+ Manage the weight and quantity of bags per blend.
+ Assist on fill lines and stage for upcoming blends.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1 plus year of production or warehouse experience.
+ 6 months of basic computer experience.
+ Flexibility and willingness to learn all aspects of the job.
+ Good work history.
+ Possession of a GED or high school diploma.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Forklift experience is preferred.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is a milk manufacturing plant that requires employees to wear a cap and gown due to strict food quality standards. The shift is a 2-2-3 rotating schedule from 6pm to 6am. The first week includes working Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The second week includes working Wednesday and Thursday with a payroll setup that accommodates the rotating schedule.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.66 - $24.66/hr.
