About the Role
We are seeking a Biotech Maintenance Engineer to support and maintain GMP‑regulated manufacturing equipment, cleanroom systems, and facility utilities. This role ensures reliable operations, resolves equipment issues, and supports tech transfer and process optimization activities in a fast‑paced biotechnology environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, utilities, and cleanroom systems to ensure reliable, compliant operation.Support equipment commissioning, qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), and facility readiness for new processes.Perform root cause analysis, corrective actions, and deviation support.Execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities in accordance with cGMP standards.Maintain accurate documentation: maintenance records, SOPs, change control, and deviation reports.Collaborate with Manufacturing, MSAT, Quality, Engineering, and Facilities teams on process improvements and equipment integrations.Analyze equipment and process data to drive efficiency, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives.QualificationsExperience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or other GMP‑regulated environment preferred.Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.Ability to work independently in a regulated, fast‑moving production setting.Preferred ExperiencecGMP maintenance activities and compliance‑driven equipment support.Cleanroom operations, environmental controls, and contamination prevention.Experience with biologics equipment (bioreactors, filtration systems, chromatography skids).Familiarity with utilities such as WFI, clean steam, compressed gases, and controlled HVAC systems.Experience in MSAT, process engineering, or manufacturing support roles.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Bothell, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
