Job Description
As a Biopharmaceutical Processing Technician, you will play a crucial role in the operations supporting the manufacture of Commercial and Clinical Biologics. This position involves working in a day shift rotation, focusing on upstream cell culture activities, including propagation of mammalian cell culture, aseptic cell culture operations, large-scale production bioreactors, and conducting large-scale filtration or centrifugation.
Responsibilities
Execute manufacturing batch records, work instructions, and SOPs with an emphasis on proactive 'right the first time' executions. Assist with batch record reconciliation.Support all department functions, including maintaining suite, supplies, equipment, logbooks, and data in accordance with site SOPs and policies.Document all activities to meet cGMP requirements. Complete document reviews and revisions, including daily record review, tasks, and databases.Participate/Lead in shift exchanges, meetings, and facilitate area needs based on changes.Support quality investigations by answering questions and suggesting improvements.Promote safe work habits and adhere to safety procedures and guidelines.Critically evaluate processes with foresight and prioritize tasks by interpreting production schedules.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in a cGMP environment is preferred.Subject Matter Expert on upstream processing steps is preferred.Bachelor's Degree in Science with aseptic technique, cell culturing, pipetting, chromatography, biochemistry, or a related STEM field is preferred.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, MO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
