This role involves taking ownership of assigned projects, ensuring accurate modeling, effective design coordination, and seamless collaboration with engineers, field personnel, and internal teams.

QualificationsMinimum 2 years of BIM/VDC experience, or equivalent education/trainingAt least 1 year of BIM modeling in mission‑critical environmentsStrong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skillsProficient with digital tools and adaptable to new softwareWorking knowledge of Bluebeam, Revit MEP, and NavisworksCommitment to learning, professional growth, and staying current with industry technologiesKey ResponsibilitiesLead BIM/VDC efforts on designated high‑priority projects requiring heightened coordination and oversightCommunicate effectively across departments, supporting managers and helping resolve project challengesWork independently while coordinating frequently with the VDC/BIM Manager on project status and resource needsExecute model layout, data entry, system coordination, shop drawings, and as‑built documentation with team support as neededMaintain alignment with IPD workflows and contractual LOD expectationsStay current on Revit, Navisworks, and emerging BIM tools and methodologiesCoordinate electrical system layouts to ensure compliance with construction documents and Electrical Code requirementsPerform clash detection and promptly communicate results to project stakeholdersProduce accurate 3D models reflecting current dimensions, materials, and design detailsGenerate construction drawings and related documentation directly from BIM modelsCreate BIM‑based visualizations, walk‑throughs, and presentations using Navisworks and ShowcaseDesign‑Build / Design‑Assist ResponsibilitiesSupport Engineers and Preconstruction teams early in the design phase—often before full engineering documents are developedAssist in creating electrical construction documents such as one‑line diagrams, load calculations, and lighting/power layoutsCoordinate with the Engineer of Record on constructability and system design in electrical rooms, racking, feeder routes, and lighting plansParticipate in trade coordination studies and scheduling effortsProvide on‑site BIM engineering support, verify field installations, and track changesExtract material quantities, bills of materials, and schedules from BIM modelsCollaborate with vendors to integrate the latest electrical design and modeling technologiesOffer layout guidance to project managers and superintendents ahead of final designEnsure all BIM files remain updated, accurate, and accessible to the project teamSkillsRevitBIMRevit MEPHVAC designPlumbing designProcess pipingAutoCADNavisworksTop Skills: Revit, BIM, Revit MEP, HVAC design, Plumbing design

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
