We are currently seeking a skilled BIM Modeler to join our team. This role is a direct hire position within a leading general contractor in the Greater Dayton area, renowned for its commitment to excellence and innovation in the construction management industry since 1916. As a BIM Modeler, you will play a vital role in our design and construction team, responsible for creating and managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) from project inception to the final construction documents. You will be involved in developing high-quality BIM models and enhancing visualization for diverse projects, including commercial, medical, industrial, life science, and food/bev manufacturing facilities.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop BIM models from the conceptual phase through to final construction documents, translating directions into detailed models.Create and maintain BIM models adhering to project specifications and design descriptions.Collaborate with the VDC team to develop and enforce BIM standards, managing a library of reusable components.Produce high-quality renderings from BIM models to assist owners and clients in visualizing projects.Assemble detailed construction documents based on BIM models for various facilities.Synchronize the BIM model environment with internal VDC teams and external PME designers.Ensure accuracy and high quality in the production of construction documents, aligning with project standards.Essential SkillsProficient in BIM software (e.g., Revit) and related tools.Strong understanding of BIM standards and best practices.5-10 years of experience working with BIM initiatives.Experience with rendering software and techniques to produce visual representations from BIM models.Additional Skills & QualificationsMinimum two-year degree in a Built Environment program (Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management Technology).Experience in commercial construction, mechanical, electrical, and building design.Work EnvironmentThis is an in-office role, requiring presence 5 days a week. You will work within a privately owned construction management firm, engaging in a variety of projects with an emphasis on healthcare and heavy industrial sectors such as food & beverage and life sciences manufacturing.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
