**The Position:**

With our continuing global expansion, we have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and driven individual to join our Premium Billing team.
The Premium Billing Representative is responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring that we understand what our clients invoicing needs are and the timely and accurate issuing of invoices. With our drive to be customer centric a large part of the role is to ensure that we help our clients to understand what we have invoiced them as well as investigating any issues. They are also responsible for liaising with the Sales & Client Management Team, Underwriters, finance and legal for upkeep and queries across all IOH, B2G and NGO business lines. You will also be involved in regular peer reviews and checks against policy conditions as part of a quality control.
**Main Duties / Responsibilities:**
+ Review and set up groups within our administration and billing system
+ Calculate premium in accordance with the rates and premium set-up specified in the policy
+ Invoice clients in accordance with the agreed billing frequency, this will involve an element of creating manual invoices
+ Engage with clients both over the telephone and email to build relationships and educate
+ Investigate any queries with invoices, working across departments and IT if necessary
+ Ensure accurate and timely settlement of premium/fee due to insurers
+ Ensure accurate and timely settlement of commission due to brokers
+ Ensure all legal, compliance, and internal procedures are followed
+ Proactively manage workload to remain within turnaround times
+ Maintain accurate files
+ Maintain bank details, email addresses
+ Liaising with finance re the payment of invoices and matching of the invoices against settlements, making sure that all paperwork is fully completed and filed accordingly
**Skills and Experience Required:**
Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written/verbal communication skills
Invoicing/billing/administration experience essential
Educated Higher Grade standard (Mathematics and English) preferred
PC literate - Solid knowledge of IT packages including Excel, Access and Word
Must have excellent numeric and analytic skills and have excellent problem-solving abilities
Ability to work under own initiative and organise, prioritise and manage own workload and apply instructions from Supervisor/Manager
Ability to meet team targets.
Attention to detail, with high level of accuracy
Ability to work under pressure
Customer focused with the ability to identify customer needs
Ability to work productively in an extremely focused, concentrated and pressurized environment.
Strong customer focus with developed problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to proposing implementing process improvements.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to read and understand textual data and instructions and convert them into accurate and efficient Excel formulas to support data processing.
