Billing Coordinator
Job Title: Billing Coordinator Job Description The Billing Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring case reports to determine readiness for invoicing, maintaining documentation for follow-up, and liaising with personnel to gather necessary information for invoicing. The role involves data entry, assembling documentation for client transmittal, and handling client inquiries. Communication and coordination with the Real Estate department are essential for resolving discrepancies and questions. Responsibilities + Monitor case reports regularly to determine when they are complete and ready for invoicing. + Maintain a working copy of reports for tracking follow-up dates and necessary documentation. + Contact relevant personnel at taxing jurisdictions for information unavailable on websites. + Perform data entry into the company's software system to create invoices. + Assemble necessary backup documentation to accompany invoices sent to clients. + Communicate with the Real Estate department to coordinate documents and resolve any questions or discrepancies. + Respond to client inquiries promptly. + Create mail merges in Excel, with entry-level proficiency acceptable. + Perform other related functions as needed. Essential Skills + Strong organizational and analytical skills. + Proficiency in math and data entry. + Effective written and oral communication abilities. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in real estate tax is highly preferred. + A forward-thinking and flexible mindset is desirable. + Ability to create mail merges within Excel. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chesterfield, Missouri. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
