Bilingual Recruiter
Job Title: Manufacturing Recruiter (Spanish preferred) Job Description The HR Recruiter will provide comprehensive HR support, including recruitment, employee relations, and performance management assistance to both salaried and hourly employees throughout the United States. Additionally, the HR Recruiter will collaborate with managers to plan and execute strategic HR initiatives that align with business objectives. Responsibilities + Lead staffing initiatives, including organizing open house events for potential candidates. + Post job openings through internal systems, job boards, community outreach, and social media platforms. + Consult with line managers to develop accurate resourcing plans and conduct staffing initiatives efficiently and effectively. + Advise and consult managers, supervisors, and staff on employee relations matters such as coaching, counseling, and corrective action. + Provide insight and support to managers in the performance management processes. + Interpret, counsel, communicate, and educate managers and staff on HR policies and procedures to ensure consistent practices throughout the organization. + Track and report recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, source of hire, and turnover trends. + Assist with employment separations and conduct exit interviews. + Assist in documentation preparation related to onboarding and other paperwork from new hires and employees. + Maintain organized records and documentation to ensure efficient workflow and compliance. + Effectively prioritize tasks and manage time to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. + Maintain compliance with all hiring policies, food safety regulations, and labor laws. Essential Skills + Four years of recruiting experience in a manufacturing environment. + Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). + Experience in full cycle recruiting. + Ability to screen resumes and conduct candidate screenings. + Experience in onboarding processes. + Proficiency in using job boards for recruitment. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Associates Degree. + Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred. + Experience with CareerBuilder is highly preferred. Work Environment This position is 100% on-site, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, including a paid hour for lunch. The facility in Chicago employs approximately 360 individuals and offers a team-oriented environment with an HR Generalist, HR Assistant/Payroll, and a receptionist. The company hosts events such as annual picnics and trips to amusement parks, fostering a family-oriented culture. The HR department has been established for a long time, and bonuses are part of the employment package. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
