**Job Title: Bilingual Internal Auditor - Mexico Operations**
**Location:** Fully Remote (U.S.-based candidates)
**Job Type:** Full-time Contract (2+ months) with potential for extension
**Pay Rate:** $55-60/hour (W2, based on experience)
**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented **Bilingual Internal Auditor** to support audit operations for our client, a leading automotive manufacturing organization with operations in Mexico. This role is ideal for an experienced audit professional fluent in both English and Spanish, with a strong background in Latin American business practices and regulatory environments.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Plan, execute, and document operational audits across Purchasing, Public Relations, and Legal departments in accordance with internal audit standards and company policies.
+ Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas of risk or non-compliance.
+ Conduct interviews with department stakeholders and review relevant documentation to assess operational efficiency and regulatory adherence.
+ Prepare comprehensive audit reports with clear findings, root cause analysis, and actionable recommendations.
+ Present audit results to senior leadership and collaborate with stakeholders to develop and monitor corrective action plans.
+ Ensure audit procedures are aligned with industry best practices and applicable regulations in Mexico.
+ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local laws, corporate governance standards, and internal audit methodologies
+ Utilize AuditBoard or similar platforms to manage audit workflows and documentation.
+ Support continuous improvement initiatives within the internal audit function.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (verbal and written) is required.
+ Minimum of 7 years of relevant audit experience, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industry
+ Demonstrated experience conducting audits in Latin American markets, particularly Mexico.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA/CIA certification is a plus).
+ Proficiency in AuditBoard or similar audit management software.
+ Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
+ Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
+ High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
