Job Title: Bilingual Customer Service Agent

Job Description

As a Bilingual Customer Care Agent, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding service to both external and internal clients, helping to achieve business goals and objectives. You will be responsible for managing communications through various channels such as automated call distribution, email, and fax.

Responsibilities

Respond to and resolve internal and external customer requests and inquiries, including pricing, product availability, returns, and delivery.Interact with various departments such as Operations, Technical Support, Logistics, Purchasing, and Sales and Marketing to ensure timely and accurate shipment of products and issue resolution.Identify customer needs and determine the appropriate course of action within established performance expectations and departmental procedures.Assess situations and escalate issues as necessary.Document transactions and perform follow-up actions in accordance with departmental standard operating processes and procedures.Stay updated on new processes and initiatives within the company.Complete all other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

Fluently bilingual in French and English, both written and oral.High school diploma.Minimum of 1 year of call center or customer service experience.Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.Strong keyboarding skills.Outstanding communication skills, including active listening and questioning.Problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and quality.Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work independently and demonstrate resourcefulness.

Willing and able to adhere to a structured telephone schedule.Ability to exhibit perseverance and courtesy.Capability to diffuse customer dissatisfaction.Professional written and verbal skills.Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.Adaptable and flexible.

Work Environment

This is a desk job located in Microbiology Ontario, Canada. The work hours are from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday to Thursday and from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM on Friday. You will be sitting for approximately 90% of the time, with intermittent walking and standing. A headset will be used for 90% of the workday.
