Description GCOI (Grocery Catalog Ops and Intel) is looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Engineer with excellent technical and analytical abilities. If you are a self-starter, someone who thrives in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, with a passion for building scalable long-term solutions, then you are the right candidate for our team. In this role, the candidate would work closely with operations, product/program, and tech teams across the US Grocery business to build a variety of bespoke data solutions that directly impact the business' top and bottom lines. The position is based in Hyderabad, but will interact daily with leaders in NA and IN. We seek a quick-learner who can quickly familiarize themselves with a fast-paced environment, build relationships with cross-functional teams, and assume ownership for a broad array of domains. Flexibility, and an ability to prioritize will be key. Our team culture is goal-oriented, collaborative and driven to achieve results. Key job responsibilities • Explore and develop expertise with internal Amazon data services and AWS products. • Design, develop and maintain scalable, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, etc. that will support our analytical and business needs. • Use analytical and statistical rigor to solve complex problems and drive business decisions. Analyze and validate data to maintain high data quality bar. • Own advanced data extraction and basic data engineering needs for your customers. • Own the maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, and other artifacts used to drive key business decisions. • Create high quality documentation for your customers and team members. • Work with team members and business customers to gather requirements. About the team Grocery Catalog Operations and Intel (GCOI) supports Amazon’s Grocery Catalog through New Item Setup, Audits & Edits, SOP management, Data management, Process Automation, etc. Basic Qualifications - 2+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience - Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools - Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines - Experience writing complex SQL queries - Bachelor's degree in sciences, engineering, finance or equivalent - Experience in managing global stakeholders Preferred Qualifications - Rudimentary experience with data engineering, working with APIs, and managing AWS accounts.
