**Role** **: Business Intelligence Developer - MicroStrategy** **Location(s)** **: Addison TX or Charlotte NC** **Term** **: 18 Month W2 Contract** **Compensation** **: Negotiable (CANNOT work Corp to Corp)** **Job Summary** **:** **We are seeking an experienced** **MicroStrategy Developer** **with at least** **8 years of BI report development experience** **and a strong command of** **SQL** **to join our data and analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using the MicroStrategy platform, enabling stakeholders to make data-driven decisions efficiently.** **Key Responsibilities:** + Design and develop MicroStrategy dashboards, reports, documents, and visualizations based on business requirements. + Translate business needs into technical specifications and ensure alignment with data architecture. + Write complex and optimized **SQL queries** to extract, transform, and load data from various sources. + Develop schema objects, attributes, facts, hierarchies, and metrics in MicroStrategy. + Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to gather and refine reporting requirements. + Optimize report performance and troubleshoot issues related to data accuracy, performance, and usability. + Maintain and support existing MicroStrategy projects, ensuring reliability and continuous improvement. + Perform unit testing and validation of reports and dashboards. **Required Qualifications:** + Minimum **8 years of experience** in **Business Intelligence (BI) report development** , including at least **5 years using MicroStrategy** . + Strong proficiency in **SQL** with the ability to write complex queries for data manipulation and extraction. + Hands-on experience with MicroStrategy Architect, Developer, and Web. + Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL processes. + Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL. + Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. + Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
