Equivalent professional experience may be substituted in lieu of education. + Proven experience in data warehouse development, data engineering, analytics, or related fields. + Proficiency in Azure Synapse Data Flow and other Azure data services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL). + Strong expertise in data warehouse and data modeling techniques (e.g., star schema, snowflake schema) and database design. + Solid understanding of SQL and other query languages. + Familiarity with programming languages for data engineering (e.g., Python, Scala, or Java). + Knowledge of cloud-based data solutions and services (e.g., Azure). + Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. + Must be customer focused and able to work on a self-initiated basis or in a team environment and able to work extended hours and travel as required. **Desired Skills:** + Familiarity with SAP data structures, tables, and processes. + Experience working with SAP data sources for analytics and reporting. + Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and distributed computing frameworks. + Understanding of machine learning pipelines and how to prepare data for AI/ML models. + Strong knowledge of data statistics, including experience applying statistical methods to analyze, interpret, and visualize data trends (e.g., regression analysis, hypothesis testing, time series analysis). + Experience with visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and integration with data pipelines. + Knowledge of DevOps practices for data engineering, including CI/CD pipelines and version control. **US Citizenship Required?:** Yes **Experience Level:** Mid-Level (3-7 years) **Relocation Assistance Provided?:** Yes **Workstyle:** Onsite General Atomics is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
