The Beverage Floor Supervisor is responsible for the oversight and execution of beverage service operations across assigned bar locations within the venue. This role provides frontline leadership to bartenders, barbacks, and support staff while ensuring operational readiness, product availability, service standards, and compliance with alcohol service regulations. The Beverage Floor Supervisor acts as the primary point of contact during events for beverage service execution, inventory control, staff performance, and issue resolution, ensuring a safe, efficient, and fan-focused experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

The RoleDuties & ResponsibilitiesSupervise day-of-event beverage operations across multiple bar locations within assigned zonesLead, direct, and support bartenders and barbacks to ensure timely, efficient, and compliant beverage serviceAssign positions, conduct pre-shift briefings, and ensure staff are prepared with product knowledge and service expectationsOversee bar setup, breakdown, and cleanliness standards before, during, and after eventsMonitor alcohol service to ensure compliance with Smart Serve requirements and venue alcohol policiesAddress service issues, fan concerns, and operational challenges in real time using approved service recovery practicesEnsure accurate handling, storage, rotation, and replenishment of beverage inventory and suppliesCoordinate with Warehouse, Beverage Management, and Operations teams regarding product needs and shortagesMonitor POS usage, cashless payment processes, and adherence to PCI compliance requirementsEnforce food safety, health & safety, and workplace conduct standards at all timesObserve employee performance and provide coaching, direction, and corrective feedback as requiredDocument and escalate incidents, safety concerns, or policy violations in accordance with company proceduresSupport training and onboarding of new beverage team members, including barbacks transitioning into bartending rolesPerform additional duties as assigned to support overall venue operations

Skills & AbilitiesStrong working knowledge of beverage service operations, bar workflows, and alcohol service regulationsAbility to lead, motivate, and manage teams in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentSolid understanding of inventory control, product handling, and stock rotation practicesEffective communication and conflict-resolution skills with both staff and fansStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple locations simultaneouslyAbility to make sound, real-time operational decisions during peak service periodsWorking knowledge of POS systems and cashless payment environmentsUnderstanding of food safety, health & safety, and workplace compliance requirementsProfessional demeanor with a strong focus on service standards and operational accountabilityAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules

Knowledge, Skills, & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredPost-secondary education in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or a related field considered an assetMinimum 1–2 years of supervisory or lead experience in a high-volume bar, restaurant, or event-based environmentPrevious experience overseeing bar or beverage operations strongly preferredExperience working in large venues, stadiums, arenas, or event-driven operations is an assetValid Smart Serve certification (or ability to obtain prior to first shift)

Physical Demands

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the duration of eventsAbility to lift, push, pull, or carry items up to approximately 50 lbs, including beverage cases and kegsFrequent bending, reaching, and navigating tight or crowded workspacesAbility to work in loud, busy, and dynamic event environmentsAbility to respond quickly to operational issues and move between multiple bar locations as needed
