Job Description
A Benefits Enrollment Specialist I is responsible for managing employee participation in various benefit programs, such as health insurance, ancillary benefits, and other perks. This role involves effectively communicating the details of these benefits to employees, addressing their inquiries, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The specialist is committed to providing excellent service to worksites, employees, and internal partners.
ResponsibilitiesProvide excellent customer service to employees and field partners through various communication mediums, including phone calls, inbound and outbound communications.Educate employees about their benefits, enrollment processes, and choices, and provide guidance to worksite employees regarding benefit plans to ensure optimal customer service levels.Research and resolve product and service issues from internal partners, clients, and worksite employees to ensure accurate and timely responses. Document information and interactions in applicable systems.Understand and reference benefit documentation to ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations and laws, including Section 125.Maintain knowledge of all systems, processes, and changes pertaining to various benefit plans, regulatory changes, policy changes, industry developments, and internal resources to ensure compliance with departmental processes and company guidelines.Embrace a spirit of collaboration by sharing tasks, ideas, and responsibilities while focusing on leveraging each team member’s strengths and skills to achieve common goals and foster a sense of unity.Prepare and process basic benefit enrollments, changes, terminations, and adjustments for PEO Benefit offerings to ensure timely processing for worksite employees while maintaining accurate and timely records of actions in CRM.Participate in the annual enrollment process, training, education, follow-up, and review of current processes and changes, ensuring adherence to deadlines and compliance with PEO Benefits Rules of Engagement.Utilize problem resolution and critical thinking techniques to assist customers, internal and external partners, and make recommendations to the team and management.Provide professional communication in all interactions.Demonstrate strong prioritization and organizational skills.Meet all KPIs through adherence to business schedules, responsiveness, and SLAs.Essential SkillsCustomer Service ExperienceEmployee Benefits Enrollment ExperienceExperience with Prism HR and Microsoft ApplicationsHS Diploma or HigherAdditional Skills & Qualifications2-15 licensureCollege DegreeBilingualPEO ExperienceWork Environment
The work environment is onsite in West Palm, with rotating shifts from Monday to Friday between 8 AM to 8 PM. Employees will have a set and consistent schedule within these hours, which will be finalized upon offer. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.03 - $28.37/hr.
