Benefits Coordinator

The Benefits Coordinator will be responsible for administration of company benefit plans, processing payroll, and leading wellness program initiatives to ensure positive employee experience and organizational compliance. This role will play a key role in supporting employee well-being, driving engagement, and helping company attract and retain top talent through meaningful, data-informed programs.\n\nPRIMARY DUTIES \n- Manage all aspects of employee benefits and wellness initiatives to ensure our offerings are competitive, compliant, and aligned with our company culture and business goals.\n- Oversee the day-to-day administration of employee benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement programs\n- Serve as the main point of contact for benefits vendors, brokers, and carriers\n- Lead the annual open enrollment process, including planning, communications, system updates, and employee education\n- Lead the development, promotion, and administration of the company’s wellness initiatives\n- Partner with vendors to deliver health screenings, wellness offerings, EAP awareness, and educational sessions\n- Analyze wellness program effectiveness through participation and feedback metrics\n- Promote wellness programs through communications, events, and employee engagement\n- Maintain wellness materials and distribute resources across locations\n- Manage employee inquiries and resolve escalated benefits issues \n- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, including ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, and FMLA and applicable wage and hour laws and reporting requirements\n- Partner with HRIS to ensure accurate benefits data and reporting.\n- Process accurate, timely, and compliant biweekly payroll.\n- Reconcile payroll-related benefit deductions and resolve discrepancies and ensure appropriate tax withholding and wage garnishments\n- Coordinate payroll adjustments, bonuses, and off-cycle payments.\n- All other duties as assigned by management.

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
