Qualifications KNOWLEDGE: + Knowledge of effective interviewing techniques, including attitudes, behaviors, and value judgments that affect the worker-client relationship. + Knowledge of laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures and manuals. + Knowledge of community and governmental resources and programs and how to access them. + Knowledge of agency computer systems and their application. + Knowledge of general office procedures. + Knowledge of state and federal criminal justice processes. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Associate's Degree Experience: 0-2 years of progressive work experience (typically in Benefits and Eligibility) OR Education & Experience Substitution: 2-4 years of progressive work experience (typically in Benefits and Eligibility) Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: None Necessary Special Requirements PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: + Typically, the employee will sit comfortably to perform the work; however, they may be some walking, standing, bending, and carrying of light items.
