Developmental Pediatrics and Rehabilitation is a portfolio within McMaster Children's Hospital. It is an interdisciplinary, outpatient program providing services to children and youth with developmental, emotional, behaviourial, physical, and communication needs. The Behaviour Therapy Consultation Service provides community-based service for children and youth with developmental disabilities who have behavioural or emotional needs.
As part of the dynamic team, under the supervision of a psychologist, the Behaviour Therapist will be involved in behavioural assessment, individual and group intervention, program development, evaluation, and consultation with children, youth, parents and caregivers. The behaviour therapist is also involved in providing consultation to multidisciplinary team members and other community service providers.

1. Baccalaureate Degree in Psychology with comparable training in a related field; Master's degree in Psychology preferred
2. Clinical experience in applied behaviour analysis and significant experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities are essential
3. Knowledge of behaviour therapy approaches in children and adults
4. Excellent verbal communication skills
5. Experience in research and development an asset
6. Valid Driver's license
7. Willingness to participate in a criminal reference screening process
8. Fluency in French will be considered an asset
9. Must be able to obtain a valid Vulnerable Sector Screen (VSS)
