Behavioral Treatment Therapist
**It's more than a career, it's a calling.** WI-Treffert Center **Worker Type:** Regular **Job Summary:** Provides clinical supervision and training of treatment staff providing direct one-one behavioral interventions. Provides ongoing evaluation as well as individualized program development and implementation for individuals receiving services. **Job Responsibilities and Requirements:** PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES + Responsible for training, oversight, and clinical supervision of multiple clinical teams providing direct one-one behavioral interventions. + Provides ongoing evaluation as well as individualized program development, protocol modification and implementation for individuals receiving services. + Communicates with referral/funding sources, staff, and program participants. + Ensures accurate and timely documentation consistent with all contracts, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards. + Ensures all paperwork and procedures are in compliance with policies, procedures, and operating practices. + Oversees initial and ongoing training of behavioral treatment technicians, registered behavior technicians, and school behavior technicians in compliance with state regulations and policies. + Provides reports, program updates, and other information as requested. + Provides direct one-one behavioral intervention when staffing is low. + Works collaboratively with families and collaterals to ensure a team-focused approach and response to the needs of the individuals being served. + Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. + Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION + Hold a bachelor’s degree in any field and have, and attest to, 2,000 hours of documented training and supervised experience delivering a Wisconsin-approved behavioral treatment model (Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or Early Start Denver Model). + Hold a master’s degree in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, social work, education, or a behavioral sciences field and have, and attest to, 400 hours of documented training and supervised experience delivering a Wisconsin-approved behavioral treatment model (Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or Early Start Denver Model). EXPERIENCE + Two thousand hours of experience and training if highest degree held is a bachelor’s degree. Four hundred hours of experience and training if highest degree held is a master’s degree. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS + Proof of motor vehicle liability insurance that meets minimum state requirements upon hire and upon request. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS + Frequent reaching, sitting, standing and walking. + Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more). + Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc. + Frequent keyboard use/data entry. + Occasional bending, stooping, climbing, twisting and gripping. + Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs. + Occasional use of vision to identify and distinguish colors. + Occasional driving. + Rare repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements and squatting. REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL LICENSE AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS Resuscitation Certification Requirement: Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) required within 90 day of employment. Other resuscitation certifications may be required dependent on department.
