Behavioral Insights Senior Advisor - Evernorth Health Service - Remote
**Position Summary** The scope of this role is to support the medical and behavioral products through analytics driven insights into sales, revenue, claims, network and clinical diagnoses. The role will help to lead efforts to improve sales and retention of Cigna Healthcare Medical and Behavioral products that drive value and earnings by developing and delivering proofpoints. **Job Responsibilities** + Work independently to handle data request from idea/hypothesis/query to quantitative and qualitative report out. + Work directly with matrix partners to flesh out business needs and requests to efficiently respond to requests for data that drive robust business decisions. + Build and maintain dashboards related to product strategy and outcomes that allow for thorough analysis and insights. + Build out analytics to understand drivers of sales, claims spend, and medical and behavioral program/product value. + Create deep understanding of reasons why sales of products are lagging or exceeding targets. Recommend, based on insights, actions to meet targets. + Identify and develop opportunities to support the CTBH Value Prop, including the drafting and delivery of proof points. + Independently and effectively manage the planning process for assigned reporting and drive the plan to meet overall corporate objectives. + Keep management informed as to the progress of reporting related to key initiatives. Respond to questions regarding pricing, average rates and discount from Sales/Proposal Management and other key matrix partners. + Develop and manage key data points that demonstrate the value of our products and services. + Manage end-to-end report design, production and delivery to key stakeholders satisfaction. + Develop a thorough understanding of the producer, client and sales relationships to be able to act as a consultant to our sales partners. **Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Health Policy Analysis, Finance, Mathmatics, or Healthcare Administration. Master's degree preferred. + 3 plus years’ experience in health care/managed care with responsibility for reporting and analytics. + Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a proven track record of success. + Ability to build reports with little guidance and apply quality management methods to validate / interpret results + Ability to conduct advanced analysis with extremely large data sets using Excel, Python, SAS or other analytical tools. + Strong communication skills, including written and oral. Ability to adjust message for the intended audience. + Understanding of managed care business processes, data, systems, and applications for claims payment, enrollment, benefit design, and utilization management. + Technical knowledge of various data mining and business intelligence tools, such as Sequel Language, SAS, Microsoft Access, or similar products, advanced Microsoft Excel skills. (Technical skills in SAS and Sequel a plus) + Strong learning agility. + Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines. + Knowledge of standard medical coding: CPT, ICD10, HCPC + Knowledge of medical or behavioral products and operations, pricing, reimbursement models, fee schedules preferred + Ability to build professional-looking/visually appealing reports to be shared with leadership.
