Patients are seen by BHCs for a variety of concerns, including traditional mental health evaluation and treatment, chronic disease management, and health-related lifestyle modification. Fellows will engage in umbrella supervision of practicum students. Direct patient care, receiving supervision, collaborating with primary care, providing umbrella supervision of practicum students. **Essential Job Functions** + Provides individual psychotherapy and/or health and behavior intervention within a primary care setting + Note writing, other administrative duties such as faxing, completing forms, collaborating with outside providers + Collaboration with PCPs and support staff, including attending relevant meetings + Prepare to present cases to clinical supervisor by providing clinically relevant information, and receive clinical feedback in return. + Reviewing research, developing treatment plans, developing interventional programming, providing umbrella supervision. + The individual should be able to meaningfully and effectively build relationships with leadership and frontline physicians, nurses, residents and students. The candidate will engage in regular direct communication with all staff as well as patients and their families + Provides individual clinical care to patients with health psychology concerns + Engages in comprehensive assessment to confirm psychological diagnosis + Provide secondary supervision for Behavioral Medicine externs and interns as applicable. + Ability to work independently + Knowledge of brief, solution-based interventions + Confidence as a member of an interdisciplinary team and flexibility to adapt to demands of integrated care + Fluency for concurrent documentation within an electronic record + This document is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, or working conditions associated with the job. Employees may be required to perform other job-related duties as required by their supervisor, subject to reasonable accommodation. **Licensing/Certification** **BLS Basic Life Support – American Heart Association (required)** **Education** A Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology Doctor of Clinical Psychology from an American Psychological Association accredited psychology program. If the degree is not yet conferred, the applicant must have completed all requirements for the doctoral degree by the start of the fellowship. -or- Completion of an American Psychological Association accredited pre-doctoral internship. **Work Experience** **Training** Specialty training, clinical experience, and/or expressed interest in Women's Health and Perinatal Mental Health and behavioral medicine.
