Job Title: Batching Technician

Pay: $18-20/hr based on experience

Shift: 5am-1-130pm (Mon-Friday- Daytime)

ResponsibilitiesExamine the batch card. Ensure the number of bulk bags or boxes and the accompanying pieces for each line item are accurately recorded and calculated.Physically examine the bags or containers to verify the correct ingredients are present, and confirm the count of bulk items on the skid.Check the non-bulk pieces on the piece skid and ensure they match the batch card. Print out the piece weight for each line item, verify quantities, and attach the printout to the batch card.Initial any piece that does not have a corresponding printout with a second batcher, except for Liquid Batches which are validated at the time of blending.Verify that most ingredients are in separate containers and properly numbered to match the batch card.Inform a manager if a piece lacks a corresponding printout and has not been signed.Verify the batch container count as noted on the batch card.Initial and date the batch card only after confirming that all weights and counts match the batch card.Communicate with the Production Manager to add the batch to the mixing schedule.Recheck any batch that sits overnight before it is mixed. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
