**Job Title: Batch Adjuster** Job Description The Batcher is responsible for conducting various quality control tests to ensure products meet established specifications. This role involves testing color, gloss, viscosity, and other physical properties, making necessary adjustments, and maintaining detailed records. Responsibilities + Conduct quality control testing including color, gloss, viscosity, and physical properties. + Determine and implement adjustments required to meet quality specifications. + Maintain records of batch adjustments, fill checks, and more on batch tickets. + Follow all ISO procedures and prepare fill check panels for batches. + Participate in short-term projects to enhance the efficiency of the Quality Control Department. + Transfer hazardous wastes to the satellite hazardous waste area and ensure proper labeling. + Complete annual RCRA training. + Maintain clean and organized workstations and retain storage areas. Essential Skills + Experience in a manufacturing environment. + Proficiency in draw down methods, viscosity testing, and color testing equipment. + Experience using color adjustment software. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork. + Ability to multitask efficiently. Work Environment Work in a small manufacturing environment with 8 employees on the floor. The first shift runs from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm with a 30-minute lunch break. Be prepared to work in an environment where the smell of paint is constant. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fontana, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
