This position involves working on the production floor, weighing out batches on facility scales, and preparing them for shipment. The role primarily includes filling 2-3 batches per day, monitoring fills to prevent spills or inaccuracies, and sending completed batches to Quality Control for testing. Additional responsibilities include cleaning drums and mixers using various solutions and cross-training on diverse tasks. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of batch mixing experience in a GMP environment. The typical schedule will be 6AM-2:30PM or 2PM-10:30PM. ResponsibilitiesWeigh out batches on the facility scales.Roll drums (up to 500 lb) to the pallets and prepare them for shipment by palletizing and wrapping.Fill 2-3 batches/work orders a day and monitor the process closely.Send completed batches to Quality Control for testing.Clean down drums and mixers using various solutions.Cross-train on various tasks and adapt to learning new skills.Essential SkillsExperience with mixers, blenders, and batch operations.Experience in machine operating and production.Ability to read and write English.Positive and coachable attitude.Ability to lift 50 lbs.Troubleshooting skills.Experience with inks or paints is a plus.Work EnvironmentThe work environment involves mixing batches of paints in a facility where paint smells are present.
The position offers training on the 1st shift, with working hours from 6am to 2:30pm for the first shift and 2pm to 10:30pm for the second shift, including occasional overtime on Saturdays.
Employees will read from specification sheets and document their work to ensure accuracy.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
