**Batch Mixer | Foods Manufacturing** **1st & 2nd Shift Available** **Overview** As a Batch Mixer, you will play a key role in our manufacturing process by operating and monitoring equipment for mixing, extrusion, polishing, and finishing. This position involves measuring and loading ingredients (up to 50 lbs.), running machinery, transferring batches between processes, and ensuring all products meet quality specifications. There are 1st and 2nd shift positions available. The typical schedule will be Monday-Thursday and overtime is available on Fridays! Load mixers, blend according to time specifications, and transfer batches to the next stage. + **Extrusion** : Operate extrusion equipment to process mixed batches into finished products. Monitor controls and perform sensory checks to ensure quality standards. + **Polishing & Finishing** : Apply finishing touches using polishing pans and liquid ingredients, and manage transfers of finished products between processes. **Skills** + 2+ year recent manufacturing experience in production; experience with mixing, extrusion, batching, polishing, and finishing preferred + Use hand tools such as RF scanners, hand trucks, and sifting screeners. + Ability to lift/move up to 56 lbs. with or without accommodation. + Strong English and math skills; able to read/write and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, manuals, and shipping documents. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elk Grove Village, IL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
