**Job Title: Batch Maker** **Job Description** Join a dynamic production team as a Batch Maker, where your primary role will involve mixing chemicals and creating batches of finished products in the batch room. These products will then be moved to the packaging room before being dispatched to customer sites. You will be responsible for accurately measuring, mixing, and processing raw materials according to established formulas and safety standards. Additionally, you may assist in the quality lab with basic weigh tests, hardness tests, and color readings using a CPU program. **Responsibilities** + Follow batch tickets and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to prepare chemical mixtures. + Weigh and measure raw materials using scales and other measuring equipment, including operating reach trucks and forklifts to transport materials. + Operate mixers, blenders, pumps, and other production equipment. + Monitor batch progress, making necessary adjustments to ensure quality and consistency. + Label and transfer finished batches to appropriate containers in coordination with packaging technicians. + Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area. + Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). + Record production data and report any deviations or issues to the supervisor. + Assist with inventory control and raw material handling. **Essential Skills** + Experience in batch making or chemical mixing. + Familiarity with mixing and blending equipment. + Ability to read and interpret batch tickets (recipe sheets). + Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking. + Forklift and Reach Truck experience. + Ability to lift 50lbs rarely and 30 lbs at times. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience working in a small team environment. + Diploma is not required but beneficial. + Willingness to take direction from senior employees. **Why Work Here?** This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing company with a solid performance track record.
