Key Responsibilities: + Drink Preparation: Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences. + Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take drink orders and engage with customers to ensure their satisfaction. + Stock Management: Ensure the bar is well-stocked with supplies. Monitor inventory levels and inform barbacks when supplies need to be replenished. + Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized bar area. + Safety and Compliance: Check identification to verify legal drinking age. Adhere to all local and state regulations regarding alcohol service and ensure responsible alcohol consumption. + Customer Interaction: Provide recommendations on drink choices, engage in light conversation, and handle any customer complaints or concerns politely and professionally. + Bar Setup & Breakdown: Set up bar before opening hours, ensuring all supplies and equipment are ready for service. Clean and organize the bar after closing. Qualifications: + Prior bartending experience is ideal but not required + Must be at least 21 years of age. + Must have ability to take directions and effectively perform the work. + Must have basic working knowledge of cash register + Must speak and understand English well enough to converse with customers, supervisors, and employees. + Must have a pleasant personality and a neat appearance. + Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of shift. + Must be able to carry and lift at least 40 lbs., according to industry standards.
