SUMMARY:

SAVOR / ASM Global / SMG, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Bartender at accesso ShoWare Center in Kent, Washington. This position is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service while maintaining full compliance with Washington State liquor laws and company standards. The Bartender plays a vital role in creating a welcoming, high-energy atmosphere and ensuring each guest receives prompt, professional, and memorable service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare, pour, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with Washington State Law and company policiesEnter drink orders accurately and immediately into the POS system, collect payment, and provide correct changeMaintain accurate accountabilities for all sales, discounts, and promotions in accordance with cash handling proceduresMix, garnish, and serve beverages following established recipes, portion controls, and presentation standardsServe wine, draft beer, and bottled beer with consistency and attention to qualityArrange and maintain bar displays to ensure an organized, clean, and visually appealing workspaceInteract with guests in a professional, friendly, and hospitable manner while building rapport with repeat customersVerify guest identification and ensure legal age compliance for alcohol serviceOpen, manage, and close guest tabs efficiently throughout the shiftMaintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, equipment, and glassware at all timesDemonstrate strong interpersonal skills and teamwork with guests, coworkers, and leadershipAdhere to all ASM Global, SMG, and accesso ShoWare Center policies related to cash handling, food safety, and alcohol servicePerform additional duties as assigned to support operational success

Provide fast, attentive, and courteous service in a high-volume environmentCreate a positive and engaging guest experience that encourages repeat visitsAnticipate guest needs and respond promptly to questions or concernsMaintain professionalism, composure, and a positive attitude at all times

     

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

Minimum of 2 years bartending experience is required.Must have current and valid Food Handler’s and Class 12 mixology permits.Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.Position requires prolonged standing, constant moving, occasional climbing of stairs and lifting up to 35lbs regularly.Communicate, both written and verbal, in English is required.Experience in an arena environment is a plus.

Benefits:

Employees are eligible to join the 401K after working 1000 hours in a 365 period.  Holidays worked are paid at time and a half. Sick Time is accrued at 1 hour for every 30 worked and can be used in 2-hour increments or more.  Employees (and family) will be eligible for Medical, Dental & Vision benefits when completing 1560 hours in a 365-day time frame.
