**Job Title: Barista II - Non-Tipped** **Job Description** As a Barista, you will provide exceptional customer service while crafting hand-made quality beverages. You will take orders and prepare coffee, tea, and other drinks according to customer preferences. Additionally, you will operate cash registers and credit card machines, handle customer complaints or questions, and strive to maintain excellent customer relations and speedy beverage delivery. **Shift** + Monday - Friday 7-3:30pm **Pay** + $19.66/hr. **Responsibilities** + Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons. + Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages to customer specifications. + Operate cash registers and credit card machines accurately. + Address customer complaints or questions effectively. + Ensure good customer relations and speedy delivery of beverages. **Essential Skills** + Experience in barista, coffee, and food service. + Proficiency in food preparation and customer service. + Ability to perform data entry and handle retail tasks. + Customer service oriented with a hospitable demeanor. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Bilingual skills are a plus. + Experience in inventory management. **Why Work Here?** Working in this position provides valuable experience and an opportunity to gain further positions in the industry, enhancing your career prospects. **Work Environment** The role is based in a coffee shop at a college in SE Portland. It is a contract position, with the potential for extension based on performance and interest. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Portland, OR. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.66 - $19.66/hr.
