Oversees the activities of the food and beverage service . Ensures compliance with health, safety and sanitation. Helps ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service, and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service. Trains, supervises, schedules and assists in evaluating staff.

\nWhat will I be doing?
\n 

\n\n\n\tEnsure proper care, security and maintenance of hotel equipment through proper supervision of service personnel.\n\tCoordinate and insure the needs of the Catering department with the managers of interrelated departments.\n\tThe ability to attend regular catering meetings to obtain information of the upcoming contracted functions. Furthermore capture information communicated via banquet event order change log and other channels and adjust and/or update existing banquet event orders.\n\tOrganize and orchestrate any last minute changes or details to functions. \n\tPost all contracted function sheets and give instructions to assistants to the team ensure the success of the function.\n\tPrepare task lists for the setup team and guide them through the event setup process if needed.\n\tMonitor and verify colleague’s side work and cleaning duties and temperature monitoring logs.\n

What are we looking for?

\n\n\n\tHave a minimum of 1 year experience in similar position, preferably in luxury environment.\n\tKnowledge of the Las Vegas catering market is preferred.\n\tStrong verbal and written communication skills in the English language.\n\tWilling to work a flexible schedule and holidays.\n\tHave excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.\n\tHave the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.\n\tStrong interpersonal skills.\n\tBe a self-motivator and motivator of others.\n\tHave an in-depth knowledge of food and wine.\n\tBe able to consistently delight and satisfy our guest\n\tHave the ability to handle guest requests in a detailed manner\n\tExcellent leader and trainer.\n\tProfessional appearance at all times\n\n\n
