THE ROLE

The Banquet Server is responsible for delivering and serving food and/or beverage items to catering clientele in a friendly, courteous and timely manner with the ultimate goal of total guest satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Set banquet/event tables to meet the function specificationsSet/display food and beverages on banquet/event tablesServe food, beverage, and accompaniments to banquet/event clientele in a friendly and courteous manner – with total guest satisfaction always front-of-mindQuietly remove chinaware, glassware and silverware from meal areaDeliver dirty chinaware, silverware, and glassware to the appropriate kitchen’s dish washing stationDeliver necessary/required equipment and beverages from storage areas to event location(s)Return equipment, unused beverages, and soiled linen to appropriate storage locations in a neat and organized mannerPerform general cleaning tasks in accordance with health and safety standardsKeep work area clean and organized – alwaysOrganize banquet/event storage areasAttend all mandatory meetingsPerform other duties as assigned by leadership

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Must be at least 18 years oldMust have ServSafe Food Handler certificationMinimum of two (2) years’ experience as a server in a fast-paced, upscale food and beverage establishmentExtensive knowledge of drink recipes

COMPENSATION

$33.00/hour + 401(k) plan.
