Job Description:

The key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Supervision of Banquet Kitchen staffPlanning, scheduling, and organizing staff to ensure proper coverageCommunicate and enforce policies and proceduresConduct pre-shift meetings and review all information pertinent to the day’s activitiesPrepare requisitions for supplies and food itemsCheck and control proper storage of all food items in refrigerators and freezers to maintain product freshness.Ensure that all Banquet Kitchen staff are properly trained and that they have the tools to effectively carry out their daily tasksMaintain sanitation and cleanliness standards Ensure prompt response and follow up to guest’s needsPromote teamwork and motivation through daily communicationOther duties may be assigned based on business needs

What are we looking for?

Minimum of 5 years experience in Banquets required with record tracking of the last 2 years resultsMinimum of 3-year supervisory experience requiredDemonstrated leadership abilities requiredSuperior communication skills requiredDegree in Culinary Arts or related qualification requiredHospitality experience in Luxury Hotels requiredMust be flexible to work early morning shifts, late nights, weekends and public holidays
