Note: The qualified candidate for this position must have at least 2 years of bankruptcy law experience and active bar admission in New York.

Job Description

Handle Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 bankruptcy matters Represent clients in bankruptcy court and manage adversary proceedings Draft motions, pleadings, and discovery responses Conduct legal research and provide strategic case advice Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to resolve complex issues Manage client communications and maintain strong relationships Support litigation matters related to insolvency and restructuring

Qualifications

JD from an accredited law school At least 2 years of bankruptcy law experience Active admission to the New York State Bar (additional state admissions a plus) Strong academic record and legal writing skills Litigation experience preferred but not required Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
