Join our dynamic bakery team where you'll play a crucial role in the production of high-quality bakery products, including donuts, Danish, and muffins. As a Bakery Associate, you will be involved in various stages of production, from ingredient preparation to packaging, ensuring that all processes adhere to safety and quality standards.
ResponsibilitiesComplete the pre-operational production checklist before starting work.Inspect and clean all ingredient containers and bags, rejecting any damaged or contaminated items.Record ingredient usage and waste on designated forms.Pre-scale ingredients using digital scales and prepare them for mixing.Operate dough mixers and monitor mixing times according to specified formulas.Oversee the lamination process, ensuring the correct setup and operation of machinery.Assist with production and packaging activities, including pushing racks, washing equipment, and monitoring conveyors.Ensure all work areas are clean and organized, adhering to safety and GMP policies.Communicate actively with team members and supervisors to resolve operational challenges.Conduct routine safety checks and promote a safe workplace environment.
Essential SkillsExperience in production and food manufacturing environments.Understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and food safety standards.Ability to operate and maintain machinery.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Basic English language comprehension (reading, writing, speaking).
Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.Must be 18 years or older.Ability to lift and push/pull 50 lbs continuously throughout the day.Willingness to stand for 8-12 hours a day and work overtime and weekends if needed.Non-slip safety shoes required (no steel toe).

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
