Job Title: Bakery Associate

Job Description

As a Bakery Associate, you will play a crucial role in the production and packaging of bakery products, including donuts, danishes, and muffins. You will work in a fast-paced environment to ensure the quality and safety of our products, adhering to strict guidelines and procedures.

ResponsibilitiesComplete the pre-operational production checklist at the start of the shift and ensure approval before tasks.Inspect all ingredient containers and bags for damages; clean and prepare them for use.Scale and mix ingredients accurately according to specified formulas and schedules.Monitor and control the lamination process, ensuring dough quality and consistency.Assist in the production line for donuts, danishes, and muffins, ensuring product specifications are met.Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas, disposing of waste appropriately.Communicate actively with team members and supervisors to resolve issues and improve efficiency.Perform routine safety checks and ensure adherence to safety protocols.Essential SkillsExperience in food production or manufacturing environments.Knowledge of GMP and food safety standards.Ability to operate and maintain machinery used in bakery production.Strong attention to detail and quality control.Effective communication and teamwork skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.Must be 18 years or older.Ability to lift and push/pull 50 lbs continuously throughout the day.Capability to stand for 8-12 hours a day and work overtime or weekends if needed.Proficiency in understanding and communicating in basic English.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a manufacturing environment that adheres to GMP standards. The facility can be hot and loud, but it offers a fast-paced and engaging atmosphere. Employees must wear company-provided attire, including non-slip shoes, and adhere to all safety and hygiene regulations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
