Job OverviewThe Ops Sup Sr. Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for providing operations support services, including but not limited to; record/documentation maintenance, storage & retrieval of records, account maintenance, imaging and the opening of accounts in coordination with the Operations - Core Team. Additionally, the Ops Sup Sr. Analyst serves as the liaison between operations staff, relationship managers, project managers, custodians and clients. The overall objective of this role is to provide day-to-day operations support in alignment with Citi operations support infrastructure and processes.

The Background Screening Escalations Senior Analyst is a seasoned professional role responsible for completing reviews of HR escalations related to Background Screening. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources.
Responsibilities:
•Manage evolving case load of complex Screening escalations and HR matters with significant cross-departmental and departmental impact•Recommend and implement new work procedures and address and resolve exceptional/unusual issues•Partner with the operation team(s) and other departments within Screening workflow•Contribute to the development of new techniques and processes for the area or function•Serve as an expert in Screening process, and understand the company wide interaction model and decision highest sensitivity esclations•Evaluate moderately complex and varied issues with substantial potential impact•Can exercise independence of judgment and autonomy •Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:
•5-8 years of experience in a related role•Advanced English level•Intermediate to senior level experience in a similar position preferred•Demonstrated experience in Screening applications and or investigation tools •Proven experience in the Investigation and Screening Adjudication process•Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills•Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate•Proficient in Microsoft Office and Access•Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communicationEducation:
