The Ops Sup Intermed Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for providing operations support services, including but not limited to; record/documentation maintenance, storage & retrieval of records, account maintenance, imaging and the opening of accounts in coordination with the Operations - Core Team. Additionally, the Ops Sup Intermed Analyst serves as the liaison between operations staff, relationship managers, project managers, custodians and clients. The overall objective of this role is to provide day-to-day operations support in alignment with Citi operations support infrastructure and processes.

Responsibilities:

Perform financial, statistical, and operational studies using analytical skills and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologiesInterpret data and results based on the analysis of information and application of professional judgementApply project management to assist operational projects as assignedPerform feasibility analysis for significant process changes and partner with business teams to develop process improvements and solutions that help to streamline the operational workflowResolve varied and complex issues using professional judgment, discretion, and business expertiseProvide informal guidance and training to new and lower level team members, as neededHas the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy. Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

The Background Screening Escalations Analyst is a professional role responsible for completing reviews of HR escalations related to Background Screening. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. 

Responsibilities:

Manage evolving case load of complex Screening escalations and HR matters with significant cross-departmental and departmental impactRecommend and implement new work procedures and address and resolve exceptional/unusual issuesPartner with the operation team(s) and other departments within Screening workflowContribute to the development of new techniques and processes for the area or functionEvaluate moderately complex and varied issues with substantial potential impactCan exercise independence of judgment and autonomy Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
