Job Description:\n
Job Responsibilities:\n\nProvides subject matter proficiency for work described in the task. \nResponsible for providing analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and definition of requirements. \nTypical duties include analysis, planning, developing requirements documents, building functional models, developing procedures, developing functional architectures, and other related management and technical duties. \nRequires expertise in specialty areas.\nShall perform engineering tasks for back-end design and development efforts including, but not limited to, developing back-end architectures to support current and new system capabilities and integrations, RESTful API development and modification, database management, and data model development and optimization.\n\n

Required Qualifications:\n\nBachelor's degree in related field required.\n10 years (Senior)\/7 years (Mid) of experience in the functional area. A Master's degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.\n10 years (Senior)\/7 years (Mid) of software development experience in object-oriented and scripted languages with the ability to apply several tool suites related to DevSecOps, microservices and containers.\n5 years (Senior)\/3 years (Mid) of experience performing back-end web design and development.\nDemonstrated experience in preparing, conducting, and documenting various systems tests and results to verify system operability and compliance with project standards and requirements.\nDemonstrated experience in relational databases, RESTful API development and communication, and system integrations for Mid-level or 10 years for Senior-level.\n5 years of experience in Python and PostgreSQL for Senior-level.\n5 years (Senior)\/3 years (Mid) of experience with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira).\n5 years (Senior)\/3 years (Mid) of experience testing web-based applications.\n5 years of experience leading (Senior) or 3 years participating (Mid) in software development programs or projects.\nPractical experience developing in a cloud environment.\n3 years of experience with the following: AWS Infrastructure, Kubernetes, and RedHat Linux.\n5 years of experience with at least five (5) of the following:
Postgress, RDS, Exodus, Python, Luna, Java, Docker, OpenJDK, Ansible, Packer, Maven, Kubernetes, Red Hat\nExperience with integrating data from unclassified to classified application deployments for Mid-level.\n\n
Desired Qualifications: \n\n5 years of experience with DoW software development.\nExperience using Agile Test-Driven development.\nExperience integrating into DoW DevSecOps environments.\n5 years of experience with CI\/CD software development.\nDemonstrated experience in utilizing UX design tool suites (e.g., Sketch, InVision).\nExperience structuring data so it can be integrated into machine learning technologies or AI capabilities\n\n
