Job Title:
Azure DevOps Engineer with AKS Expertise
 
Key Responsibilities:
CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (Azure Pipelines, YAML, etc.) for smooth application deployment on AKS.
Containerization & Kubernetes: Implement containerized solutions using Docker and orchestrate them using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Manage Kubernetes clusters, pods, deployments, and services.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement infrastructure automation using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
 
Monitoring & Logging: Set up logging, monitoring, and alerting using tools such as Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, and Prometheus to ensure the health and performance of AKS clusters.
Collaboration: Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve deployment speed and reliability.
Security & Compliance: Ensure security best practices for AKS, including role-based access control (RBAC), network policies, and managing secrets with Azure Key Vault.
Automation: Leverage automation tools like Ansible, Azure Automation, or PowerShell for infrastructure management and deployment tasks.
Cloud Management: Manage Azure cloud resources, networking, and services using Azure Portal, Azure CLI, and PowerShell.
Required Skills & Experience:
Azure DevOps:
Extensive experience with Azure DevOps Services (Azure Pipelines, Repos, Boards).
Experience with both classic and YAML-based pipelines.
Solid experience working with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
 
Knowledge of Kubernetes components such as pods, services, deployments, and ingress controllers.
Familiarity with Kubernetes networking, security, and persistent storage.
 
Cloud Infrastructure:
 
Strong understanding of Azure Cloud services (Compute, Networking, Storage, Identity, and Security).
Experience managing resources using Azure CLI, PowerShell, and ARM templates.
Familiarity with Terraform or Bicep for infrastructure as code.
Experience setting up and managing Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Prometheus for containerized applications.
Scripting & Automation:
 
Strong teamwork and communication skills to work in cross-functional teams.
 
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
Relevant certifications such as:
Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
Microsoft Certified: Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
