As an AWS Software Engineer III-Full Stack/Angular at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Sector-Liquidity Risk Infrastructure team, you will be a key member of an agile team, tasked with designing and delivering cutting-edge products that are secure, stable, and scalable.  Your role involves implementing essential technology solutions across diverse technical domains to support the firm's business goals effectively.

Job responsibilities

Create Test Automation Suites using Cucumber, Selenium, AlteryxExecutes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problemsCreates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systemsProduces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code developmentGathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systemsProactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architectureContributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologiesAdds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experienceExperience with Java, Python, Angular/React, Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, Spring Batch, AWS (ECS/EKS)Experience with modern front-end technologies such as Angular or ReactExperience with cloud technologies such as AWS ECS/EKSHands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityProficient in coding in one or more object oriented programming languagesExperience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languagesOverall knowledge of the Software Development Life CycleSolid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and SecurityDemonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
