Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide overall IT leadership for Enterprise Correspondence Development teams. This includes support for initiatives, relationships with both internal and external parties, and providing expertise and counsel.Interface with all corporate and business unit leaders to communicate IT application development strategies/plans and gain collaborative support.Remove obstacles, close gaps and manage and mitigate risks to ensure delivery on time, on budget and with impeccable quality.Manage the Technical Directors and provide guidance as they lead their teams and set prioritization.As member of Application Development Leadership and IT Extended Leadership, this leader will work closely with the IT Leadership team and to provide technical leadership to set corporate technology strategy and investment.Overall responsibility for Healthfirst along full life-cycle application development and delivery of complex product portfolios.Create and lead the implementation of internal methodology and process improvements designed to shape the application development organization into a world class team utilizing best in class practices and technologies.Ensure high quality talent, bench strength and succession planning through best practices in recruiting, selection, training, developing, and retaining IT professional staff.Provide leadership to the quality team and provide quality measurements to leadership team. Drive quality initiatives within design and development phase.Responsible for managing financials aligned to delivery within their teamsMinimum Qualifications:
Significant years of progressive leadership experience in software developmentExperience building and managing Agile teamsExecutive leadership experienceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field.Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, or related field. Excellent negotiating and conflict resolution skills.Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.Strong organizational and planning skills and the ability to agile teams and/or projects simultaneously.Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect and organize data and summarize findings and develop conclusions and recommendations.Ability to thrive in rapidly advancing, changing, and delivery-focused environmentsStrong technical background with an engineering focusHiring Range*:
Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $190,800 - $291,975
All Other Locations (within approved locations): $189,800 - $290,445
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
