Job Description:
The AVP Practice Growth Management will lead a team that supports field sales and leadership in building effective practices, enhancing client experience, and driving client acquisition and retention.
Role Accountabilities
Accountable for the development and implementation of the strategic vision for how the team supports PWM (PIA/PIC/PB) and FP business growth objectives and advances the capabilities of Advisors, Planners, supporting team members and Leaders in the field.
Responsible to create and deliver role specific Practice Management curriculum for Leadership, Operations, Client facing staff, Support Staff, New Employees, and all LOB specific roles.
Create and deliver programs focused on employee onboarding and advisor/planner core skill builds and professional development programs (through various stages of managing and growing practice), including New FP and PIA/PIC/PB training programs; practice coaching and leadership coaching
Partner for the voice of field, advisor sales & sales support model, training, & coaching. Support business in driving adoption
Lead the delivery of in field support via specialized teams that deliver instruction and coaching aimed at helping field professionals elevate their practices
Set vision for the Practice Management team and lead through change management
Support the implementation and training support of technology platforms
Lead relationships with L&D partners, Wealth National Office and Wealth field leadership
Also accountable for Advisor marketing function, including:
Social media enablement and content
Marketing programs, content, tool enablement and training
Digital Experience Strategy and Execution
Video training and development
Event skill development
Role will also have oversight of establishing and implementing Legacy and Teaming best practices and tracking of Advisor continuing education
Qualifications & Experience
Strong people leader; coaches team towards high performance
10+ years Wealth experience, ideally within the field
Understand strategic direction of industry and vision for how to position TD teams to grow market share
Strong Collaborator
Strong communications skills
Deep understanding for the frontline advisory experience and the client experience
Deep expertise in advisor systems, practices, and coaching strategies
Client facing experience
Ability to work within matrix model/accountabilities
Client centric and outcome focused
University degree
