AVP, Analytics - Health & Wellness Pet Market Expansion
Job Description: **Role Summary/Purpose:** The AVP, Health & Wellness Pet Market Expansion Marketing Analytics role is responsible for developing strong analytic solutions to support the expansion of pet owner customer base for Health & Wellness platform. This role will work closely with Health & Wellness Pet Market team, Marketing, Credit, Business Development and Finance to identify and estimate new business opportunities to grow pet owner customer base. In addition, this role will lead analytics to support the joint efforts of CareCredit and Pets Best team. **_Our Way of Working_** **_We're proud to offer you choice and flexibility. Occasionally you may be required to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as business or team meetings, training and culture events._** **Essential Responsibilities:** + Lead analytics initiatives that further support the joint efforts to grow Health & Wellness financial products and pet insurance + Lead analytics support to develop business case to expand Health & Wellness pet market by identifying, sizing, and forecasting impact from new business areas + Partner with the Pet team, Marketing, Business & Development and H&W Marketing Analytics to identify strategic growth initiatives while evaluating in-market campaigns and activities. + Collaborate with other team members of Health & Wellness Analytics team, as well as Synchrony Analytics communities to identify opportunities for synergies and process efficiencies + Support ad-hoc strategic initiatives and projects as needed + Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned **Qualifications/Requirements:** + Bachelor's degree and 5 years of analytics experience; or in lieu of degree a high school diploma and 8+ years of analytics experience in marketing, consumer acquisition & retention, or loyalty programs in credit card and/or financial service areas. + A minimum of 5+ years of analytics experience and include: + 5 years of experience supporting consumer acquisition & retention and new business development + 5 years of project management + 5 years of experience utilizing database/analytics tools (SQL, SAS, **and/or** Python), advanced spreadsheet and presentation tool. + **Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required** **Desired Characteristics:** + Bachelor's degree in mathematics, economics, finance, business, or other quantitative field + Master's degree preferred + 5+ years on experience performing analytics, specifically related to business development opportunity + Ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and become a trusted business partner + Ability to influence business partners and senior management through building and delivering analytical insights and compelling recommendations **Grade/Level: 11** The salary range for this position is **115,000.00 - 200,000.00** USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge. Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle. **Eligibility Requirements:** + You must be 18 years or older + You must have a high school diploma or equivalent + You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process + You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act. + New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
