Avionics Technician
**Job Title: Avionics Technician** Job Description We are seeking an experienced Avionics Technician to effectively troubleshoot, repair, install, and service avionics and electrical systems on corporate and privately owned general aviation aircraft. This role requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently without constant supervision. Responsibilities + Troubleshoot and repair avionics and electrical systems on general aviation aircraft. + Install and service systems following company, government, and FAA regulations. + Complete all required checklists, forms, and reports accurately. + Ensure compliance with all safety rules and regulations. Essential Skills + Minimum 6 years of experience in line maintenance or installation/upgrade on General Aviation/Corporate aircraft. + Experience with pitot/static, EFIS, FMS, GPS, communication, navigation, and WiFi systems. + Cessna Citation and King Air experience. + Aircraft wiring and termination experience. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Self-starter capable of working alone. + Own tools required. + A&P License is a plus. + Previous Repairman Certificate is a plus. + FCC General Radiotelephone License is a plus. + Understanding of aircraft component repair. + Knowledge of avionics test equipment such as IFR 6000, IFR 400, and Laversab 6300. + Experience with Garmin, Collins, and Honeywell systems. The position requires hands-on experience with Pilatus, Cessna 525, 525B, Cessna Excel/XLS, and King Air aircraft. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, Georgia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
