Job Title: Avionic Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Avionic Technician to join our team at a renowned facility in Philadelphia. This role involves comprehensive avionics repair and maintenance, including installations, troubleshooting, and wire harness fabrication. The primary focus will be on AW139 helicopters.

Responsibilities

Perform avionics repairs and maintenance on AW139 helicopters.Conduct installations, troubleshooting, and wire harness fabrication.Work in an FAA repair station environment.Utilize experience with transponders, navcomms, radars, DME, and similar systems.Collaborate effectively within a maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility.Work overtime as required to meet project deadlines.

Essential Skills

Minimum of 4 years of avionics experience.Experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation in an FAA repair station.Familiarity with Garmin, Honeywell, or Cobham avionics.Possession of basic personal tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License with radar endorsement preferred.FAA-certified Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic certification preferred.Experience with AgustaWestland helicopters is advantageous.Civilian aircraft experience is preferred.Experience in a heavy maintenance environment is beneficial.

Work Environment

The work is conducted in a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility and Completion Center. The facility is located next to AWI's main production plant in Philadelphia, PA, and specializes in providing maintenance, repair, and installation support for various organizations. The role may require overtime, and technicians should have their own basic tools.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bensalem, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
