Job Title: Avionics Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Avionics Technician to troubleshoot, repair, install, and service avionics and electrical systems on corporate and privately owned general aviation aircraft. This role requires a professional who can work effectively without constant direct supervision and is knowledgeable about company, government, and FAA regulations.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair avionics and electrical systems on general aviation aircraft.Install and service avionics systems on corporate and privately owned aircraft.Complete all required checklists, forms, and reports in accordance with regulations.Comply with all safety rules and regulations.Understand and follow repair facility manuals.

Essential Skills

Experience in line maintenance or installation/upgrade on General Aviation/Corporate aircraft.Self-starter capable of working independently.Experience with pitot/static, EFIS, FMS, GPS, communication, and navigation systems, as well as WiFi.Cessna Citation and King Air experience.Aircraft wiring and termination experience.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ownership of personal tools.

Work Environment

The work environment is based in a hanger at PDK, operating Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 3 PM. Technologies and equipment used include systems from Garmin, Collins, and Honeywell. Candidates should be prepared for hands-on work with general aviation aircraft, including troubleshooting and RVSM certifications.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
