Avionics Technician
**Job Title: Avionics Technician** **Job Description** The Electronics Technician is responsible for the testing and validation of all electrical assemblies, sub-assemblies, wire harnesses, cable assemblies, ground-based vehicle modules, and full vehicle systems. These tasks are crucial in ensuring that assemblies meet the specifications detailed in drawings, schematics, and statements of work, focusing on opens, shorts, leakage current, grounding, and bonding. **Responsibilities** + Perform completion of Organizational-Level, Intermediate-Level, and Depot-Level aircraft maintenance tasks, repairs, modifications, Time Compliance Technical Orders, and One-Time Inspections on CV-22 aircraft. + Inspect and maintain aircraft avionics and electrical and environmental components. + Perform acceptance inspections of critical flight control components after rework or upon receipt from the manufacturer, as well as aircraft acceptance and transfer inspections. + Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance actions as required. + Diagnose, adjust, repair, and replace faulty aircraft electrical, environmental, and avionics equipment/components. + Troubleshoot avionics instrumentation, navigation, environmental control systems, and electrical components and assemblies using wiring schematics and diagrams. + Perform complex system/sub-system troubleshooting. + Ensure aircraft and equipment forms and Maintenance Information System documentation is complete, accurate, and accomplished. + Ensure strict compliance with environmental directives and applicable environmental protection/compliance guidance. + Ensure compliance with applicable government safety directives, standards, and industrial safety publications. + Promote a work environment of zero accidents and injuries, including no lost time accidents. + Provide on-the-job training and document training of active duty maintenance technicians as required. **Essential Skills** + 7+ years of continuous avionics experience in an aircraft mechanical specialty on any fixed-wing or rotary aircraft. + 1 year of V-22 experience required. + Extensive working knowledge using technical publications, bulletins, diagrams, ground support equipment, and precision tools in accordance with the Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM). + Active secret clearance. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 3 years of experience on V-22 aircraft. + Held qualifications on V-22 aircraft: Red X’s/ IPI’s, APU, and Blade Fold Wing Stow. + Experience with tugs, forklifts, and cranes. + Proficient in soldering and crimping procedures. + Experience with SIRFC System. **Why Work Here?** This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment that encourages professional growth and development. The work involves very little to no overtime and is contract-to-hire, with the potential for direct hire after around 6 months depending on attitude and performance. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $43.88 - $43.88/hr.
