**Job Title: Avionics Installer I - $25.66/hr** **Job Description** We are seeking an Avionics Installer I for a contract position in Savannah. This entry-level role requires assisting in the removal and installation of avionics electrical components, as well as fabricating wire harnesses and performing functional tests of avionics/electrical systems under moderate supervision. **Shift** First Shift: 4:45 AM - 3:15 PM (Monday - Thursday) **Responsibilities** + Assist in installations, modifications, and fabrication of wiring and electrical components, fixtures, and associated equipment according to blueprints, worksheets, and engineering drawings. + Help complete tasks within the allotted time frame. + Maintain required logs and records. + Comply with the company FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program, and all safety regulations. + Care for and maintain shop equipment and tools as assigned. + Perform other duties as required. **Essential Skills** + High School diploma/GED. + General knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and customer specifications. + Ability to use a multimeter. + Six months accredited schooling in aviation electronics or general electrical experience preferred. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Technical Certificate in aircraft electrical assembly preferred. + Successful completion of a youth apprenticeship program sponsored by Gulfstream in the area of expertise. + Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Computer skills and general software knowledge. + Flexibility to work all shifts and in tight spaces on back, stomach, standing, and various positions. **Why Work Here?** This position offers an opportunity to work in a climate-controlled environment where tools are provided.
